Drawing from 30 years experience in professional audio, including 15 years at Lexicon as VP Sales, Silverman is a pioneer of the digital and computer audio revolution. He introduced many new concepts to the audio community including effects automation through MIDI, software-upgradeable audio products, outboard processors with digital I/O, database search functions of presets and THX home theater. Silverman was also instrumental in developing new sales channels to bring this technology to market, while providing customers with a greater level of dealer support.

Silverman holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Clarkson and is an active member of the AES and IEEE.
